Mexico at Universal Expo 2010

Mexico, an active protagonist in world efforts to solve the main challenges humanity is facing, will participate intensely in Universal Expo 2010. With the motto “Living Better”, the Mexican government will erect a pavilion on 4,000 square meters of land, which will accommodate the Mexican proposal to find better forms of coexistence.

According to its organizers, Expo 2010 Shanghai will be visited by more than 70 million people. In it, Mexico will show its current projects, aimed at finding solutions to the main problems that exist in cities.

Mexico’s participation in Expo Shanghai 2010 will be based on the link between social development and sustainable human development. Mexico will show China and the world its qualities with regard to tourism, real-estate developments, high-quality technologies and infrastructure favorable to business climate. Furthermore, strategic alliances will be established to implement models of cities, promote trade and attraction of investment, and tourism.

The Mexican pavilion will house a restaurant serving national haute cuisine, a crafts shop, an area devoted to the country’s tourist promotion, and will place special emphasis on trade and foreign investment promotion through a Business Center.
